System Designer Tool

ViaLite’s System Designer tool has been developed to assist users with the design of complex RF over fiber Satcom systems, using multiple DWDM products. The tool allows users to predict and validate the performance of their end solution.

The software allows the user to select and ‘drag and drop’ a variety of components to create their proposed system. The system performance results are then calculated by the tool, allowing the user to analyze their design and make amends where needed.

The results can be saved and/or printed as a system design drawing, detailing the performance figures.

  License Levels

  The System Designer is available as a cloud based tool that’s accessible over the internet. Four license options are available, starting with a single day limited access trial with the ‘Lite’ license.

  Standard and Premium licenses give increased access and features, for more complex designs. Licenses last up to 12 months.

  Access to online documentation is available as long as you have an active account.

   

  Consultancy Services – Design Architect

  As an extra level of reassurance throughout the design process, ViaLite offers a paid Design Architect service to remotely accompany you while you design your system. The Design Architect will suggest different design options and check design work you have saved to the cloud. Once the design is finalized, the Architect will issue a ViaLite certified design number to your solution to classify it as an validated design.

  The tool subscription costs are waived if the user then purchases a certified design.
